FMLA

This whole thing FMLA thing I find confusing...or I am probably making it more confusing than it really is...its nice at work that we can voluntarily use our sick and vacation time during that time to get paid...and as long as your receiving some paycheck you still earn sick and vacation time...so the hard part is is not knowing when its going to start...

He's due on the 10/4 but he can come whenever his little heart desires...I'd prefer him to hold off till that weekend but I mean I don't have much of say there...the 4th is a Tues...so I wonder if I should just start maternity leave that week but then it'd be a waste if he decides he's not coming till later...not that I want to go into labor while at work a good 1/2 hr away from the hospital not to mention a 10 min walk to the car...though I'm pretty certain someone would drive me out to my car...but then I'd end up annoyed if they wouldn't let me drive myself and call an ambulance and I'd rather not my car be stuck out in Boyers...

So as you see this FMLA thing is not so easy...or again I'm making it not easy...but to me there are too many what if's and not enough definite answers...and I'm not too certain I really like my new supervisor to really ask him about it...I know I need to get over that or I may just see about talking to my old supervisor about it and then talk to the new one...though the new one should be use to maternity leave or will be soon w/ a total of 3 girls pregnant in the department...

I'm making my head hurt now...so I'm done thinking about it...
