Sucking at this lately

Sorry I pretty much sucked all week on this blog...b/w the hospital visits this week and then trying to get a million things done before the baby shower...which I only had to make pasta salad and ice tea for tomorrow so its not even the baby shower that I'm needing to do things for...

I had got all the stuff to the pasta salad but my jack@ss of a brother came home drunk and ate half the ingredients so I had to run back out to the store and get more...then I got all that stuff done and had to get paint for the baby's room and a ceiling fan...and hair color for moms hair...

I have the room all prepped that all my moronic brother needs to do is slap a coat of paint on it and put up the ceiling fan which he is to do tomorrow...probably depends on how hung over he is...he's just been ridiculous and really just needs to go to jail already why keep dragging it out the stupid court system...

So now I'm gonna rest I may throw some dye in my hair and finally take a shower...but I really should just lay with my feet propped up cause they have had it...

Jinxed Myself

Well no time for a blog yesterday cause I jinxed myself and spent 2hrs in the hospital last night...of course after I say on Tues since we had been there with Trey that one day it would be for me...

I had a dr appt Weds evening that was to be at 8...well I got a call asking if I could come in at 6...so I said sure...well that wasn't too my benefit since they asked me to come in at 6 and the dr didn't see me till almost 630...so what should of been another short to the point appt wasn't...

After the usual round of questioning..any contractions, leaking, bleeding, blah blah blah...and me saying no no no...no real problems...time to listen to the heart beat...well she said rate is good at 143 but continued to listen...now I had thought it sounded funny but wasn't sure if she had moved the monitor or what and almost asked if I was hearing a heart murmur...she then says did you hear it skip a beat there...she says that its common but she was sending me for a ultrasound to look at the heart to make sure there are no defects and its just that the nervous system hasn't matured yet and most times its fixed prior to birth...

Well there went the benefit of an earlier appt...now I was off to the hospital...that wouldn't be too bad if I just had to go take the test...but no they have to admit you to the maternity ward...so I had to put on a gown and the babies heart was monitored till I had to go to the ultrasound which at that point you could still hear the skipped beat...so then had to be unhooked and wheeled to ultrasound...to which the little guy was stubborn and didn't want to cooperate to get the pictures of the heart she needed...finally that was done for me to be wheeled back up and lay there for another hour and half for some dr somewhere to read the ultrasound...

Well the baby was tired of being listened too as well and decided to move around for a good 15 mins so that the monitor couldn't detect a heart beat at all u'd just hear him kick it...not to mention after the ultrasound when he was still the skip beat wasn't there anymore...we finally got the okay to go home that the dr said the heart looked fine...and I'm just to keep my normal dr appts and come in if I think I'm going into labor...

I think he just wanted attention or possibly a practice run so he knew what the hospital looked like...I'm glad that he's supposedly ok...we know what kind of faith I have in drs...but gee whiz not how I wanted to spend my evening that rugrat...

One day the trip to the hospital will be for me

Sorry for the lack of blog again...I was annoyed by the computer cord and had a long evening to worry about posting something...

I was planning on a relaxing yesterday evening...just had to run out to get lunch food...Kris texted me asking what I was doing and then called me 3 times in a row...between me never hearing my phone ring and the shady reception in walmart I missed them...so we finally connected and she was bawling cause Trey fell and hit his eye and she didn't know if she should go to the ER...

So I checked out real quick and forgot half of what I wanted...and went over there...his little eye was swollen and had a good scratch and bruise and he was sluggish...so I immediately said we better take him cause we'd rather be safe than sorry and it was super close to his actual eye...Ty heard my voice and started bawling in the tub...cause he was upset cause his mom was upset...so we finished his bath and dropped him off at mom and dad's rather than drag him to the hospital...here Kris didnt have a car anyways cause Marques was at work and they are down to 1 car...

They determined that his cornea didn't seem scratched though they wanted to see him today...and he was said to be okay and just follow up at his pediatrician which he has his 9 month appt next week...by the time we left the hospital he was much more is amicable self...he was a real trooper the whole time and not much crying or fussing just seemed to be saddened by his injury...

Ty was super cute cause as soon as we dropped him off he goes gma baby brothers eye is dead...I get back in the car and say to Kris she'll have some explaining to do if Ty tells everyone that his baby brothers eye is dead...but he was very worried that he was okay...and supposedly didnt even pick on him today cause he has a boo boo...

Nothing too new with me...the baby has officially began to squish my diaphragm making it hard to breath...hopefully he'll drop down cause that makes the walk in and out of work a little difficult...but I could have far worse symptoms...another dr appt tomorrow night...fun fun...training is going...only one lady is driving everyone in the class nuts so at least its just not me wanting to tell her shut up...

Another Tiring Weekend

Well right now all I feel like I accomplished is a headache...I think everything for my baby shower is ready god I can only hope...I got chelle's gift done for her shower...cause I'm the nice sister and the other two are like evil step sisters...chelle is just a spoiled brat and kris doesn't have a brain...

Anyways I need a nap this headache needs to go away...watching tyler all morning does that...but no he didn't cause it...he was a good boy...we did a little shopping...baked cookies...had lunch...and played...how he wasn't exhausted i don't know

And my computer power cord has decided to be finicky and only work when it wants that shall be fun to deal with...if anyone has an extra dell powercord i could borrow i'd appreciate it kthxbai

Oh Good Grief

Oh bother...and everything else...the stupid VA decided it was okay to discharge dad cause he couldnt get his last round of chemo cause his blood count is too low...well they should of kept him so he doesnt drive us all insane...we dont have time to be worrying about getting him to and from stupid appts cause we all work and have our own appts to worry about...

The crib bedding came and I like it and mom is happy it came with valances...though he keep laying on my right side and annoying my right hip that likes to pop out of place anyways so when I go to stand up it takes a good few steps to not as look as though I'm limping...always cute at work...

Chelle has power in most of her house...the electrician was no help...the air conditioner guy got the air fixed here it just needed whatever they put in them that has replaced freon...so it wasn't the ac the blew up the electric...well it might of been cause the house is wired retarded...so the lack of that liquid could of cause the ac to surge and somehow not blow it up but blow the other stuff...they tore down the basement ceiling and the electrician is to come back out and see if he can see where the wire damage is and replace what needs to be replaced there...then if that doesnt solve the problem adam will have to continue to tear stuff apart for the electrician to come back and look again...poor girl hopefully it will all be fixed before the baby comes

Not much to say today other than my crib bedding should be here tomorrow...and though I'm sure that seems random I'm quite excited...it'd be better if the room was painted and I had a mattress but I'll settle for just the bedding tomorrow...

Alright I'm off to bed cause I need to be at work at 630 cause I need to leave work early for an appt...fun fun

Training Day

First day of training is done...and its gonna be a long 2 or so months...its gonna be boring not to mention no one seems to have a definite answer to things...even in scenarios they try to give as example they get themselves confused and then say well we don't have to worry about that now...well then why did you mention it...

My desk had been a mess cause it was used for storage apparently for a long time...so it still had lrg boxes of light bulbs on it...a work order to move stuff was put in but the little cleaning boy actually seemed to make it happen sooner rather than later cause he felt bad that he wasn't told when I was moving in or it would of been done...though the computer ppl made a mess...how does one move a computer from one cube to another and manage to get the wires completely tangled when everything had to be unhooked for the move...I then had to unplug everything and rewire so the wires weren't in a big jumble...I knew I should of moved it myself...

Alright enough of that...I'm sure exhausted from this cold and haven't been sleeping well so I think its off to bed...hopefully the baby will agree with that idea...
